The successful candidate will gain the ability to provide innovative financing solutions for any type of business or commercial real estate financing need, as we offer commercial loans from $5,000 to $500,000,000 or more to real estate investors and businesses of all sizes, types, credit profiles, and industries. You will receive formal training and ongoing support, as well as direct access to our vast network of financial partners.
We are looking for customer-oriented individuals with determination and communication eloquence to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for self-starters and entrepreneurs, such as (but not limited to) bankers, real estate agents or residential mortgage brokers, to build their own business and enjoy the perks of being your own boss.
The ideal individual will be responsible for actively, energetically, and persistently soliciting and servicing prospective customers and landing deals. S/he will produce a variety of commercial loan opportunities, as well as generate, grow, and manage a portfolio of business relationships, while seeking new accounts through focused calling efforts, marketing, business networking, and referrals.
The successful candidate will also have strong customer service and sales orientation, a bachelor’s degree, and 3+ years of business experience.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of professional experience
- An understanding of, and/or experience in, small business operations
- Relationship management skills for key commercial, small business, and personal relationships
- Be very personable and likeable
- Have highly developed analytical expertise
- Leadership experience
- Sales energy
- Be an active business networker, unafraid of meeting people in person and reaching out using social media platforms (and the phone)
Nice to haves:
- MBA or undergrad business degree
- Credit training or equivalent experience
- Small business or entrepreneurship background
- Loan production in commercial and real estate lending
- Loan portfolio administration and product sales
- Underwriting expertise
- Banking experience
